I picked up weights back in High School. It felt good, and always wanted to do it. There was no dedication. During training for my job (8 weeks), I think I gained as many as 15 lbs. I was mad at myself. I knew I wanted a change. One of the peeps I spoke was Edlova_21... he gave me a couple of routines and this site..... since then (Nov 07), I have been going three-to-five times a week.
Why I Love It:
I want to go back in shape to play soccer at the level i used to play in HS... I also want to play bball a lot more (I got a sick defense, but don't count on my offense)
How I Stay Motivated:
look at my tummy.... and think "DANM" I must put in an extra 45 mns!
BB Accomplishments:
be under 170 by August 3rd.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
In late November, I was doing dbarbell eadlift for the first time.
1) I did it with too much weight considering that was the 1st time.
2) I did NOT do it right.
Late Dec/Early January, I suffered from a rotator cuff tendinitis. It was a result of lack of stretching before and after workout sessions. Spent one month and a half away from the gym as a result. Let's just say LESSON LEARNED!In late November, I was doing dbarbell eadlift for the first time.

Aight... It's been awhile since I last wrote any blogs, but i really do not want to make any excuses for not doing so. I just want you to know althouogh no blogs had been posted (until this one); I have always been to the gym at least two days out of my 3-Day Workout program. I am also...
OK... After days of doing freestyle, free-of-specific routines at the gym... I am finally finishing up on my list of routines and minimum of amount of days i will be lifting (considering my budy schedule this summer)
Day One- Pre-Workout Workout (1), Chest, Shoulder, Calves,...
What up kid? How you living? I have not talk to you in forever. Hope all is well. Yo I will be home soon... you know we gotta hit the gym, right? Oh btw you gotta go see Batman.
lol..well it's going..making progress...for as hard as i am working it feels as though I should be making more but I am happy with what progress I am making. How are things for you?
Goals are funny things, aren't they? :) I decided I needed more concrete goals, instead of setting goals that have variables that are not completely within my control... if that makes any sense. :P What did you change your goal to? My memory may be failing me, but it appears to be the same goal!!
I just started Lipo a couple weeks ago. I take 2 in the morning soon as I wake and 2 in the afternoon, usually 30 mins before I lift. Tell u the truth, I haven't been strict enough with my diet to really be able to tell how effective the lipo is.
