Goals:
Main Goal:
Lose Fat
Goal (Overall):
Reduce my bodyfat to 9%
Goal (Long):
I am interested in lowering my bodyfat overall - 9% or less is my ultimate goal, but I am striving to lower my bodyfat by about 0.5% each week (which would take me about 20 weeks, or 5 months) by changing my diet and sticking to meat and veggies, some nuts healthy fats, two servings og fruit per day and only significant carbs during my post-workout period. I find that I run best on a lower-carb diet and that my progress is solid when I maintain this kind of eating plan. My calorie intake seems to be around 1800-2200 calories per day and my BMR+activity appears to be around 2800-3000 calories per day, so I am shooting for 1.5-2.0 lbs of fat loss per week. I am currently Crossfitting 5-6 days per week for 30-45 minutes for high-intensity weights, intervals, and/or strength work, plus I am adding in 30-60 minutes of lower-intensity cardio (65% HR) during mornings and mid-day during the week, at an average of 4-6 additional hours of activity. I would like to maintain my lean mass (even gain some) and see my abdominals, increase my proficiency on bodyweight strength exercises, and lower my 5k and 10k running times.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
9%

I really am inspired by what he's been able to do to overcome his physique challenges - especially being in his 40's. Great work
