I am interested in lowering my bodyfat overall - 9% or less is my ultimate goal, but I am striving to lower my bodyfat by about 0.5% each week (which would take me about 20 weeks, or 5 months) by changing my diet and sticking to meat and veggies, some nuts healthy fats, two servings og fruit per day and only significant carbs during my post-workout period. I find that I run best on a lower-carb diet and that my progress is solid when I maintain this kind of eating plan.
My calorie intake seems to be around 1800-2200 calories per day and my BMR+activity appears to be around 2800-3000 calories per day, so I am shooting for 1.5-2.0 lbs of fat loss per week.
I am currently Crossfitting 5-6 days per week for 30-45 minutes for high-intensity weights, intervals, and/or strength work, plus I am adding in 30-60 minutes of lower-intensity cardio (65% HR) during mornings and mid-day during the week, at an average of 4-6 additional hours of activity.
I would like to maintain my lean mass (even gain some) and see my abdominals, increase my proficiency on bodyweight strength exercises, and lower my 5k and 10k running times.
I follow workouts from Crossfit.com's main page, as well as the workouts planned by my Crossfit Affiliate's head trainer. I also design programs myself to address my individual weaknesses.
I wanted to make a post so that anyone who may have stumbled upon my blog didn't think I had thrown my plan out the window and stopped trying to reach my goals. Instead, I feel even BETTER about my progress.
You see, I have been keeping track of things on my blog to help me get a better...
