How I Started:
I trained in Judo and played competitive basketball when I was younger. I was always very active and relatively fit, though still overweight. Upon entering my teens I hit a slump and fell further out of shape.
Last year I started weight training and went from around 260 pounds to 210 closer to the beginning of this summer. Since then I have maintained while working overseas and am now committing to the final stretch.
I am currently vacationing/living in Thailand and my goal is to reach around 150 pounds before heading home at the end of January. I am training in Muay Thai and a bit of MMA at a local camp in Phuket.
I want to lose approximately 70 pounds, gain muscle, and live an overall healthier life.
Goal (Long):
I want to improve my Muay Thai skills while losing weight in order to compete next year when I return to Thailand. While I am here my main focus is losing weight; I would like to get to 150 pounds before heading home in January and lose the rest upon arriving in Canada.
