When I went to the NAVY recruiters office I was able to do all the physical tests just fine (the running the pushups and sit ups). The only thing that is holding me back was my weight. I am so tired of being told that I can’t do stuff because I’m to big

View all problems as challenges.
Look upon negativities that arise as opportunities to learn and to grow.
Don't run from them, condemn yourself, or bury your burden in saintly silence.
You have a problem? Great.
More grist for the mill. Rejoice, dive in, and investigate.

My all time goal is to loss 110 pounds then to gain 25 pounds of muscle in the next nine months.
Goal (Long):
I’ve never been the skinny kid or the super built kid or the star athlete but I want to prove to myself that I can be. I also have to loss the weight in order to join the NAVY and become a NAVY diver. I am currently running at about 270 and need to be at least 185 pounds in order to join. So I decided to take it one step further and drop down to 160 pounds and gain 25 pounds of muscle.

Thanks for the comment. You can quit if you want it bad enough. Just take it slow and remember that if you do slip its just part of the learning process.
