I was initally inspired by one of my best buds, Layne Norton, a natural pro BB. This interest persisted; however, I hadn't a clue what I was doing. It was not until November of 2006 that I upped my game and started taking it seriously by getting a PT and training on a consistent basis.
Why I Love It:
I love to lose myself in a workout! It is a great escape from life's daily pressures. Sticking to a healthy training/diet makes me feel more in control AND accomplishing more before 6am than most people do in an entire day is an amazing feeling!
How I Stay Motivated:
Reminding myself that if I don't then someone else out there IS and TWICE as hard. I also like to read what other women in the industry are doing and try and hang their pictures up everywhere to remind me of what I want to achieve.
BB Accomplishments:
not much so far but its definitely in progress

This was taken at 178 lbs approaching 180! This is the heaviest I have ever been in my life! WOAH! I will never go back!
Kayla,
Super progress!
My wife and I were checking out your progress pics last night and she found you very inspiring. She's just getting into working out seriously to lose some weight. I looked over your "healthy food" list but I'm curious about what your eating schedule is like: how many meals a day? What's your protein to carb balance? stuff like that. Any advice would be great. I want to help my wife achieve results like you have.
Thanks,
