When I Started:

How I Started:
I'm just starting again (seriously) after years of working out only 1-3 times a week and being lax about eating clean. More than a decade ago I was in fantastic shape.
Why I Love It:
I feel really energized after a great workout. I have more energy the rest of the time as well. I like when my body is smaller, more lean, and able to fit into clothes better. I want to be proud of my body again.
How I Stay Motivated:
By setting important goals like knowing a reunion or some event is coming up that I strive to be ready for. July 4th is around the corner & I'd like to wear a bikini.
BB Accomplishments:
Competed in mid 1990's. Nothing lately.

Here I am at about my highest weight ever, over 180 lbs. This was a time of my worst body image. I felt huge & I was. It was uncomfortable & nothing fit. I wasn't working out except on very rare occasions and was eating whatever.
My fitness goal is to weigh less than 150lbs by July 14, 2008.
Goal (Long):
I'd like to weigh no more than 150 lbs which has not happened in more than a decade. Twice I got into the low 150's and it felt pretty good. I know that if I weigh in the 140's I will fit well into my frame and fill out my clothes properly. I want to wear sundresses and shorts and show off my legs again without being embarrassed about my thighs. I intend to go to gym at least 5 days a week, do an average of 10 classes a week, drink 8 glasses water day, eat a nutri-system like diet which worked well for me in past. I commit to do this for the next 2 months and create a habbit.
I'm still going to the gym 2x/day. Usually. For example, Weds started with 1 hour cardio class. Then home / work. Went back to the gym for 1 hour "power hour" class with exercise balls, weights, lunges etc. That exercise ball gave my abs an amazing workout. Afterwards...
flat mom butt is a disease that needs to be stopped...haha
I do glutes on cables and squats too. No use being skinny if you end up looking like a deflated balloon right?
Hi Kat!!! Thank you so much for your comment. I have been lifting and doing cardio on a daily basis. I have to admit my weight is up and down. Don't worry about the number on the scale. Keep in touch!!! ;)
You are making good progress and I look forward to watching you progress even more. Keep pushing yourself to be the best that you can be and keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing you not only achieve but surpass your own expectations.
Congratulations on your weight loss Kat. I can see the progress on your photos. You have been very consistent with your workouts. I bet your body fat is a lot lower as well!!! :)
