How I Started:
I was very involved in various sports growing up & always enthusiastic about aerobics & working out in general. I took weight training in college & fell in love w/it. Since then I've been at it off & on but my weight has steadily increased due to my poor diet & lack of consistency in training.
Why I Love It:
It gives me lots of energy! It relieves stress, makes me feel happy, healthy, optimistic & best of all STRONG. Lean muscle makes you burn calories while at rest.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have many important reasons behind wanting to be healthy & fit.

She has a SUPER positive attitude that I love! She's also accomplished a lot, w/out starting out like many skinny women, simply looking to add muscle. I think its more difficult to lose fat & remain motivated, especially when you are over age 30.
She's come a really long way & has such a great outlook! Her before & after photos show her incredible transformation & I want to achieve something similar.

There's nothing I love more than visiting and trying out other gyms while I am out of town, especially when I know we're moving there real soon. So far my favorite gym has been Gold's because of the equipment and setup but there is still a gym on one of the boardwalks that I have yet to try...

Right now my workouts are random. There's no consistency or direction. My body needs significant attention all over, so I'm probably going to start back up w/circuit training & cardio, for a few weeks before switching it up.

you know what, im the same like you, some things are better off OUT of the house. OR heres what you can do(i imagine you buy the RAW almonds right?those are easier to NOT binge cause not as tasty+healthier) what you can do is PRE pack all the servings in mini- ziploc, so it makes it easier to NOT cheat and overdo it

hey karen, sorry to hear about your weekend. I guess all you can do is dust yourself off, etc... I tell you what, when i over deprive myself i tend to binge, now i am more careful plus i have better treats and NO devil foods in the house whatso evr cause i am a REAL junkie lol-hey we did that killer bootcamp, i am still sore!wish u were here!

I think every town has a Gold's but mine..lol...Last week I e-mailed Gold's corporate office, gave them my name, my towns name, I told them i toured the one in Fresno, told them I so love their gym and asked them if they have plans to build one here someday..No reply back yet..Hey, it don't hurt to ask, right??.. =)
