My past was a tough time and I ate to fulfill the emptiness, my low self esteem, and depression. I wore a size 13 in pants and weighed 150 lbs. In the summer of 2006, I moved to MN for a change. My goals at the time were to go to school, get a career, and lose weight. After joining a gym I started to read lots of MuscleMag from my brother-in-law (who also works out). I'd ask him tons of questions and realized that I wanted more.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel great and helps remind me to always push harder in life for what I want.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at everyone else's profiles and accomplishments and looking forward to wearing a swimsuit in the summer ;oD
I would just like to fit back into my size 8/9 clothes.
Goal (Long):
I just had my son and totally splurged on food while pregnant. I would like to be 120 lbs. or less and I want to really focus on my abs/lower half. I want a toned body and to feel good (mentally and physically) again.
Her profile was one of the first I viewed when I joined BB.com. Just viewing her progress pictures were (and still are) very motivational for me. I love that she has recorded videos of her workouts. They are very helpful.
Hey hey, thank you much, that sounds great..
When do you think you will be ready? Just hit me up and we can talk about things if money is an issue..
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Kasy, I hope you are well. I have a suggestion. You need a goal. Something you can put in front of you to shoot for. Put your goal on your bathroom mirror, your refrigerator, your car, or everywhere you will see it. Take some progress pics, and keep a diary. You can do this!! I'd like to help if I can! Chris
I use weights on my abs. None of that "oh, I may break a nail" lady stuff. No regular sit ups, no ab bench, just machines, dumbells and the incline bench. They will come, just need weight like other bodyparts. Stay in touch!
