I have always loved fitness and nutrition and have been an active person belonging to various gyms and keeping a consistent workout schedule. My weight was not an issue until I became pregnant with my first child. I gained 50lbs with my daughter due to bedrest and poor nutrition. In the back of my mind I thought, "I'm active, I'll workout and lose this 50lbs...no problem!" Ha! I didn't know how hard it would be. So here I am. My last weight check during my pregnancy I was at 207lbs. Once I got home (after having my baby) and was brave enough to get on the scale it read, 186lbs. I've been working on losing it ever since that day. Today, I weigh 170lbs. I've had gains, I've had losses, but I'm staying consistent and I'm not giving up. I'm in the home stretch and would like to lose about 15-20lbs more. My husband and I would like to try for baby #2 this August. My goal is to lose the remaining weight by the start of summer. I would like to enjoy the summer months lean and fit, then work on baby #2. I plan on doing this pregnancy different. If I have to be on bedrest again I won't let my nutrition go to the wayside. I'm staying focused, positive and consistent and always believing in myself and my goals. The best of me is yet to come!
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good about myself, plain and simple.
How I Stay Motivated:
My daughter and my husband. I want to be a role model to my daughter. My husband and I want to be fit and active with her and teach her about a healthy lifestyle.
BB Accomplishments:
None so far.

I probably weigh 186lbs here. A few months after having my baby. At this point I was just getting back into a workout routine. We didn't belong to a gym yet and I was just doing DVDs, mostly Tae-bo in my living room.
I really need to continue to lower my BF and lean out my legs!
I am proud of what I achieved after the birth of my daughter. I lost a total of 43lbs from my last weigh in while pregnant to today! I lost inches overall and have more muscle now then I did before I had my daughter. I still have some fat to lose and muscles to gain, but we are currently trying to get pregnant with our second child. ***UPDATE****
Currently 9 months pregnant with baby #2! I will have a new set of goals coming soon!
I'm still going...I wish I had good progress pics to put up, but I don't!!! It's a bit frustrating. I'm doing a 10 week challenge through BuffMother! website. If you're a woman and you're a BuffMother! fan (check out her bodyspace) then you should join up on her website. It's great! So...
The Body for Life program helped with the much-needed body transformation of both my wife (bodyspace: judimax) and myself I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat and my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) went from size 12/14 to 4/6 in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. I know that you will realize your fitness goal and I look forward to watching it happen.
always a pleasure talking with you as well.. my other motto bout the scale? "I train and eat right for me, to feel good about me, not for some number between my toes"
oh no- xplode rocks..! love that stuff..! and do yourself another big favor? take your scale? drop the "F" bomb down on it and throw it away. Use how you feel and measurements for progress. (you look great by the way) arent babies great..!
hey nice lady.. i'm doing much better thank you for asking. I'm too stubborn to stay out of the gym.. so, I tried to work around it. How are you doing?
