Well I was always into sports when I was in school(gymnastics/cheer) but then when I got to highschool I focused on my grades and left the sports on the back burner... I found myself gaining weight and it spiraled from there. My heaviest I remember weighing was almost 190lbs(I would not step on the scale anymore after that!) I finally had a breaking point when I moved out on my own and got into rollerblading at a long paved bikepath near my apt. I didn't want to workout around people at that point because I was so self conscious, so this was perfect... Alone, outdoors and could go for miles if I wanted to(worked up to that!). I didn't have the greatest eating habits still at that point(I was taking in far too little for all the exercise i was doing, and poor food choices) and my mother noticed... so she hired a nutrition planner. From there I just got more and more into learning how to care for my body through nutrition and training. I am constantly wanting to learn and ask my coach probably waaaay too many questions, but that's me! Hahaaa.
Why I Love It:
It challenges you to be better... There are sacrifices I must make but then I see the positive outcome and it keeps me moving forward.
How I Stay Motivated:
I set goals and focus on that. I also use pictures of people I aspire to be like. Music helps too!
BB Accomplishments:
I stepped on stage for the first time at the Atlantic City show(Sept 11-12, 2009)and was awarded 1st place in Bikini Tall class... I then competed the following week at a much larger show(soo nerve wracking) Team Universe and was awarded 3rd place in Bikini F class....

Ok, well it doesn't sound good but it is. Maybe not contest friendly but fairly clean. In a bowl mix some cottage cheese, a cup of sugar free jello some almonds and cinnamon. Mix well. Enjoy! Your very welcome! Yeah I made it to the expo this year. Im shooting for a August show in San Diego. I was going to do the Orange county classic but I hurt my shoulder. Whens your next comp?
You're welcome. :) Progress is going good. It just FEELS like I'm not seeing any gains, but my friends keep telling me I'm getting more ripped, which is good. haha...how about you?
