When I Started: Jun 1975
HOW I STARTED:

I WAS IN KARATE AND WANTED TO GAIN SOME MORE STRENGTH AND POWER, SO I STARTED LIFTING WEIGHT AND DECIDED IT WAS MUCH MORE FUN!!!

WHY I LOVE IT:

I TRULY LOVE HOW STAYING FIT KEEPS ME YOUTHFUL AND THE RESULTS COMES SO EASY FOR ME...NATURALLY!!!

MISSION COMPLETE AUG. 1, 2011...MY FITNESS ROUTINE WAS 4 MONTHS OF INTENSE TRAINING FROM APPROX. APRIL 1 - AUG 1 AND I WENT FROM A BULK 255 TO 220LBS OF LEAN HARD MUSCLE!!! I TRAINED MY WHOLE BODY (2SETS 15-20REPS)VERY FAST TUESDAYS AND THURDAYS FOR 2HRS WITH 1/2 HRS OF HEATED SAUNA AND WHIRPOOL TO BURN FAT AND TO SWEAT OUT TISSUE WATER FOR DEFINITION WITH ONLY NUTRITIONAL SUPPLIMENTS!!! YOU KNOW, I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN OFFENDED WHEN SOMEONE ACCUSED ME OF BEING ON STEROIDS, BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT MUST BE A BLESSING TO BE SO FIT THAT PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE ON STEROIDS...LOL!!!

...NEW PROGRAM: 24 HR. FITNESS WORKOUT FROM 7-9PM...

"EVERY WORKOUT INCLUDES STANDING AND SEATED CALVES EXERCISES AND ROMAN CHAIR SETUPS WITH CRUNCHES FOR ABS"

LEGS: LEG PRESS, HACK SQUAT, LEG EXTENTION, LEG CURL, HYPER EXTENTION FOR HAMS!!!
BACK: WIDE GRIP CABLE PULLDOWNS, CLOSE GRIP CABLE ROW, BENTOVER ROW, DUMBELL PULLOVER...ALL EXRCISES ARE 3SETS OF 10 REPS WITH MODERATE WEIGHT FOR GOOD ISOLATED PEAK CONTRACTION FORM!!!

...THURSDAY NIGHT 7 - 9PM...

CHEST: DUMBELL FLY, INCLINE PRESS, CABLE FLY, DIPS!!!
SHOULDER: OVERHEAD PRESS, SIDE REAR AND LATERAL DUMBELL RAISES!!!
ARMS: SUPERSET BICEP AND TRICEP...ALTERNATE DUMBELL CURL WITH TRICEP DUMBELL KICKBACK, PREACHER CURL WITH CABLE PRESS DOWNS, BARBELL CURL WITH OVERHEAD ONE ARM DUMBELL EXTENTION...ALL EXRCISES ARE 3SETS OF 10 REPS WITH MODERATE WEIGHT FOR GOOD ISOLATED PEAK CONTRACTION FORM!!!

ALL EXERCISES DONE IN ONE NIGHT!!!
ALL EXERCISES ARE 1SETS OF 20 REPS WITH MODERATE WEIGHT FOR GOOD ISOLATED PEAK CONTRACTION FORM!!!

NOTE: I HAVE PACED MYSELF FOR OVER 35 YEARS OF TRAINING TO FIND OUT THAT "MODERATE WEIGHT" WITH GOOD ISOLATED PEAK CONTRACTION FORM IS OVER-ALL BETTER THAN OVERTRAINING AND STRAINING WITH "TOO HEAVY WEIGHT" WHICH WILL IN TIME LEAD TO INJURY AND PERHAPS THROW YOU OUT OF THE GYM...THINK ABOUT IT!!!

DIET: A GOOD DIET WAS THE KEY WHICH IS ABOUT 75% OF THE FITNESS PROCESS: EAT PLENTY OF EGGS, CHICKEN BREAST, FISH, WHEY PROTEIN, WILD RICE, COTTAGE CHEESE, MILK, BEEF, NUTS, BEANS, TURKEY, OATMEAL, FRUIT, SPINACH TO BE LIKE "POPEYE"...LOL!!!

WELL...BEING CREATIVE TODAY AT 57, I ONLY COMPETE WITH MYSELF FOR LONGEVITY...LOL!!! (A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to "COMPETE").
