Well unlike many other stories I have heard, I was NOT much of an athlete. I was always the fat kid...all the way up till highschool..then I was the chubby girl. I was never happy with my figure but thought I was doomed to a "full" body because of what my parents looked like. I couldn't have been more wrong! Never realized just how important the diet was and that lifting weights wasn't just for boys. I slowly started reading a few articles...then a few more...and more and just became obsessed. Bought a set of adjustable dumbbells and was loving the pump, this began my new passion: WEIGHTS! I absolutely LOVE it. Seeing my body change is what keeps me addicted. Weights: BEST legal drug around.
Why I Love It:
LOVE the pump and the definition it gives my body.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reminding myself of how unhappy I was with my body in the past and realizing how much healthier and happier I feel now.

What PersianDoll Is Up To:
Nov 24, 2009
PersianDollupdated Fit Status "Worked out with a former fitness competitor yesterday...she killed me with supersets! Loved it. "
To be prepared for figure in either the Ronnie Coleman or Texas Shredder Classic in April 2010!
Goal (Long):
I have always been the "chubby friend," and I was the "close to obese" child back in the day. I look back at my pictures and am horrified at how my parents allowed me to become so large. But I have come to peace with that since, I look at them now and see they really have very little knowledge about nutrition. So in my conquest, everyday I read articles on what to eat and what not to. I have completely turned my diet around and have begun to see results.
Within all this revelation and acceptance I realized I wanted to model. Now I don't mean your typical stick figure model but a fitness model. I think those women are GORGEOUS and really respect all the hard work they put into their body! So now it is my turn! I really want that lean, sculpted, hard look and I know my body is capable of it!
I am super excited to be on this journey, wish me luck! :D
Well looks like we have hit my first plateau. Last month I lost 4% body fat in 4 weeks...this month dropped only 1%...managing the same lean body mass. Conclusion: DIET down, increase protein, get me to at least 15% body fat then keep it there to start REALLY building. Man I gotta say I was...
I'm goin home for Thanksgiving Break, so excited! What have you been working out? You keep up that trainging young lady! I will still be rooting for you on the sidelines =0)

Well it's not too far of a jump from 17% to 15% do that's a relatively quick job! So put on some muscle during the cold season, and yeah you will need to be at a low BF%...some go as low as 6%!!!
GO KATHY GO!! I noticed a change in bfi!! You should be proud, even a lil improvement can go a long way..You just have to keep it up so the smile on my face grows wider; ear to ear =0)
Your boy,
