How I Started:
I had no interest in going to the gym until a friend needed someone to help keep her motivated. I became hooked at the time, but when she stopped going I stopped going.
In the summer of 2005 I started going for myself and I have been working out regularly since April 2006.
Why I Love It:
I can go in the gym tired and unmotivated and leave feeling like a new person.
How I Stay Motivated:
Grappling with guys who have 50-100lbs on me.
BB Accomplishments:
4th Place in Fitness at the Toronto Classic June 2007

KEAchanged Weight from 134 lbs. to 125.5 lbs., a 8.5 lb. loss in 43 days
Haven't posted a progress pic in a while. This is what I've been doing since the last one. I'll put up a more conventional shot after my next tournament.
Earn a blue belt in BJJ (and a black belt .... one day).
Deadlift 2x bodyweight.
10 Chin ups in a row!!!
Run a 7 minute mile.
Complete a 5K race.
Skip 50 Double Unders in a row. (April 2008)
How has the BJJ training going? When is your next tournament? I'm still training (have a tournament in August), but I've been concentrating on Muay Thai the past few weeks. I hope everything is good on your end.
You ahve made excellent progress and are putting together a great package for not only the stage but also for the whole world to see.
Seeing as you are from Canada who would expect less?
