Have always been a "fitness" nut though never really with any consistency until now. Worked out off and on all my life (mostly off) - this 32 week period is the longest and most productive.
Why I Love It:
Being in the gym is one of the few things that makes sense to me. Being in the present moment, mindful, aware and totally focused on the now is great Buddhist practice. Chasing and even catching tangible results. The lifestyle - this is something worthwhile one can live in and out of the gym. Being amongst like-minded people. It's being what you do!
How I Stay Motivated:
Curiosity - to see how far I can go. Proving that I can build muscle at 58. Experimenting with exercise routines, diet, and supplements. This site is awesome and another way of being amongst like-minded people who share, support, and inspire.
To be what I do - and the rest will take care of itself...
Goal (Long):
155 lbs., bf of 14% and thence to maintain bf % while increasing lean muscle mass by whatever to have a 42" chest, 16" arms and 33" waist (32 would be nicer) by the end of 2009.
To be able to make a good living solely as a Personal Trainer.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 5 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
14%
