When I Started:
Apr, 2004
How I Started:
I was heavy after having a baby and became addicted to fitness after the weight loss started. I always played sports when I was younger, so this is how I challenge myself now.
Why I Love It:
I love the "rush" I get from lifting weights. As a woman there is a sense of empowerment. I also love to see the actual transformation in the body. There is not much sexier than a fit and confident woman.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by looking at what I want to be and also by looking at what I don't want to turn into.
BB Accomplishments:
I have lost about 50lb after my son was born. I am interested in losing more body fat, but I just had a tummy tuck and breast lift. I will look forward to seeing what I can do once I am healed.

Maintain through the holiday season, but start leaning out after New Years!
Goal (Long):
I just got a couple cosmetic procedures that are common after pregnancy. After I have healed from them I will see where I am physically and go from there. Ultimately I would like to stay around the 16% body fat range. I will keep you posted!

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Behind the neck pull down. Most people over extend their neck. This creates unneeded tension. Another risk is accidently hitting your self in the back of the head with the weight. I don't do these. Instead I might to an over head press and really angle my arms back so that I hit the rear part.Behind the neck pull down. Most people over extend their neck. This creates unneeded tension. Ok so today is a prime example of a day where I was just out of control. It was like I didn't care at all about what or how much I ate. Sometimes when I get around my family I forget about eating healthy. Today I had blueberry pancakes in the morning, chips and dip for a snack, then 2...
