How I Started:
I started lifting at the age of 10 watching Pro Wrestling, Rocky, Conan, and the real change was after I saw 300. I really began to understand the whole Dieting, Cardio, and Weight training to make the right gains this past January. It was when I hit 250. I did not want to take any pictures. I was close to becoming a NO-GO in the military. Plus I made rank and I knew it was time to lead by example.
Why I Love It:
It is about the job. I have to be fit to handle/train dogs and being a cop. Mostly I get the stress of the day out of me. Its like a drug, with all the same side effects.
How I Stay Motivated:
After 2008 I saw a change take place in me both physically and mentally. What really keeps me going is watching heads turn when I walk in a weight room, but most of when people ask me how I keep my size and help with what they want to get out each work out. But the one thing that keeps me going is my Little Girl Hannah. She gets the Trophy's I win.
BB Accomplishments:
2008 Korea wide Bodybuilding showed me what busting your ass every day in the gym fight off ever food temptation out there can do.....That is to win and know how to win. 1st in the Middle weight division payed off but going head to head with my boy who got me into this lifestyle was a rush(stopstarin333 on bodyspace). I took 2nd place over all but DAMN IT first place will be MINE next time!!

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
It all depends on much they are lifting and if they are look for the attention. Sometimes I cuse at the weights.

Not sure of the date for Sendai's. Will have to check on it. Think it's spring/summer time. So you're doing one in May then?? I hate the off season. I'm seeing more muscle, but feel like I am getting fat. I know that I'm not, just like the cut & ripped look WAY better! LOL I almost wish there was another comp. in a few months so I can get cut again...

Wow, seems like you've been there a lot longer. Yeah, nothing until spring/summer time as far as comp's go. Misawa won't have another one until they get a new director. He's into running and only has 5K's and stuff. There's not enough people around here to compete so I guess I see his point. I'm going to try a state side comp. next year. Going to try for my pro card!!

this place is the same and i realize that the gym here sux, i almost have to make up every workout i do just to get the results im looking for, i havent competed this year but and trying real hard and have been training consistently, there is a comp in october and im hoping to make it there! so you say bulking up?? lets see some pics because hope ur not just a fat dude!

Hey man just stopping in to see how things are going. I am in qatar right now. Thanks for hooking me up with that workout. I am running 6 miles a day so the fat will be burning off. Also i have a strongman competition tomorrow. If you have any more advice for me let me know. Oh and congrats on the muscle&fitness article. That is what really got me motivated to make a change.
