When I Started:
Oct, 2007
How I Started:
I started working out in H.S. for football and somewhat for baseball. My older brother is a personal trainer and I found that the results that I was able to achieve through weight training was amazing. From there I continued to train in college and was in the best shape of my life.
After college I entered corporate America and guess what? You guessed it I sat on my a$$ made some money and got soft in the a$$ and stomach. I had been off and on with my workouts for years. Getting in great shape only to lose that shape later due to work related duties or letting complacency get the best of me.
However, 6 months ago I have rededicated myself to getting back into the best shape of my life. Things are coming together
Why I Love It:
The results are great. The sense of accomplishiment. The high it gives you. For me its a great way to start my day. I work out in the mornings before work. Its also an amazing stress reliever. This is one thing you can be in control of even if everything else is chaotic.
How I Stay Motivated:
Not wanting to look like everyone else.
Working on my six pack. (Not there yet)
Staying as strong as possible.
Grinning when I see a mirror
Wanting to be healthy later in life.
Setting a good example for my nephews.
BB Accomplishments:
I can lift 400lbs with my pinky.
I'm stronger than your daddy.

First pic!!! I am about 6 months into my training though
Objective 1: I want to gain muscle while losing fat...We all want to look great right?
Objective 2: Remain athletically functional
Objective 3: Remain in good health (Just as important as the first two.)
Goal (Long):
I want to get shredded!! Period.
Lose 15-20 lbs. While maintaining most of my lean mass. I also want to improve my stregnth and flexibility.
Not looking to compete though the people in that field are very inspirational and amazing looking.
Want to look good in my clothes as well as out of them.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
8%
Upcoming Contest:
No Contests. I truly admire bodybuilders though they are very committed & driven people
Hey man, thanks I'm trying. I'm blasting my shoulders hard. I just started a new routine from iwantsixpackabs as well as doing more weights. Good luck with your progress.
I liked your logic in stating your goals. Good luck on your rededication. I'm working on lowering my body fat percent as well. If you have access to a gym, I've found my HIIT sets on the stairmaster very taxing. Additionally you're working the big muscles of the leg.
Good luck
You are going to do great and there is no reason why you can’t equal or probably even surpass what I have done. I wish you all the best and truly look forward to watching your progress.
Remember: “First say to yourself what you want to be; and then do what you have to do to achieve it.”
I just thought that I would drop by and wish you much success in your body transformation quest. Both my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) and I used Body for Life, which is a 12-week program. I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36% bodyfat to 10% and my wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6. Always believe in your own inner strength and push yourself to be the best that you can be. I look forward to seeing your progress.
