I decided enough was enough. I approached the barbell and picked it up...the rest is a blur of pain and iron and sweat.....
I gave money to ISSA, explained my training approach and philosophy and read their text books. They gave me a training certification.
Then later the Navy decided to pay me for this and that is where I am at now.
OOps need to add I am now ACSM as well....
I am about to release a cookbook (in book stores near YOU) and work on my family and career path.
Why I Love It:
Oh man, I love every bit of it. I love the energy rush, the changes to my body, the health rewards...the fact I am a big strong GIRL.....I love it all!
How I Stay Motivated:
How do you lose motivation? I keep it in my sock drawer near the jewelry and other "stuff".
"I will act now. I will act now. I will act now. Henceforth, I will repeat these words each hour, each day, everyday, until the words become as much a habit as my breathing, and the action which follows becomes as instinctive as the blinking of my eyelids. With these words I can condition my mind to perform every action necessary for my success. I will act now. I will repeat these words again and again and again. I will walk where failures fear to walk. I will work when failures seek rest. I will act now for now is all I have. Tomorrow is the day reserved for the labor of the lazy. I am not lazy. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure. I will act now. Success will not wait. If I delay, success will become wed to another and lost to me forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the person." -Og Mandino

I am eating no wheat at all.Protein is at 1.5gs per pound and fat is roughly .5gs on rest days but active days I keep it under 50 grams. I am carb cycling. However, a tight cycle. Why I like this video: How women SHOULD train...you know, to prevent the bulky look *wink*
feeling great darling! dropped a quick 20 pounds during training, keeping it off here. gym is out of this world, cardio tent is football sized, i'll send pics sometime. good food is plentiful and life is what it is. always great to hear from you! - matt
I never thought I'd say this, but the best gym I've been in, with the best equipment and the most room, is in IRAQ! They pumped a ton of money into this place, and i'm loving life here! I hate to think about having to leave...is that sick or what?
They like it and are impressed. Actually lends to my credibility that I might know what I'm talking about. Although a couple of them do want me to wear the suit when I train em! LOL!!
You asked about being "dehydrated" at this stage...I've been guzzling down about 1.5gallons/day. Water cutting will take place precontest week. Hope you are doing well.
No Cuban (in this instance), instead a cheap throwaway from Walgreens! I use cheap legal cigars to season the humidor that houses my expensive illegal cigars:) All my best, al
Got to check out all of your accomplishment. Wow...what an exciting year(s) you've been having. Awesome and very motivating to me. Thanks for checking in with me.
Those are muscle chicks on my walls. I want to have the cake and eat it too. I also have a strong desire to know who is capable of what. This dude who can bench 308 lbs wants to compare his enduro strenth to me and I'm down to see what he can do with 25s. Then theres blondeamazon who's huge but she's a high rep goddess. Go figure. Think you can take me in anything?
