I ended up getting a job at the gym that I currently frequent and I saw that a lot of people that were older then me were losing weight pretty easily and I thought "Man if these guys can do it why not me?" So began keeping a food journal and reading a lot of fitness and health magazines and in turn that helped me develop my workout plan. I started out at about 530 pounds now I'm at 500, and I hope to overall get down to about 250 in 2 years.
Why I Love It:
I really just love the feeling after a workout, I love the sweating the pushing and pulling, I love waking up with sore muscles, and most of all I love the results I'm seeing from what I have been doing. Even though I'm not ripped or anything yet I have noticed my body getting firmer and tighter as I progress.
How I Stay Motivated:
Well actually that's one of my main problems right now is motivation but what I try to do is use positive reinforcement when I feel like I want to quit or give up or take a day off. I think to myself "Do you really want to go back to being over 500 pounds!!? Or do you want to spend this hour in the gym to reach your overall goal?" That's what I use to keep myself motivated.

This is me starting out on my new weight loss adventure. I know it's a high mark but I want to lose anywhere from 50-100 lbs within the next 6 monthes and I really think I can do it! I hate this body so I'd like it to look better!
Well I achieved a personal best this week of losing 7 pounds in 1 week and I feel great! I think I could have lost more weight if I would have done more cardio but no use crying over spilt milk. Let's get it!
12 Week Transformation to the new me! Overall goal 30-60lbs along with 10-20% BF!
Goal (Long):
I've never really been interested in being really muscular, though I have always had the dream of being thinner and leaner. I'm a musician and I want to be able to step on stage and do multiple song sets without being tired and out of breath. I think it would also help me with my self confidence issues with woman also, though that is not my main motivation. I really just want to be happier and healthier and I think that creating this bodyspace is a first step toward that. Overall my goal weight to reach would be 200-250 pounds range. Right now I'm currently at 500 and I'd like to lose the weight within a 2 year time frame. Hopefully with time and dedication I can reach my true wieght loss goal.
I've never really focused on the actual forearm muscle though it's an obvious muscle to exercise so I don't know on this one.

What chest workout has worked best for you?
The chest is one of those muscles you want to deffinitly hit from all angles in my old routine I worked mainly with dumbbells and did: Flat, Incline, and Decline Dumbbell Presses and found those to work really well. I heard you can use cables to sculpt and define later on but I'm not quite there yet.The chest is one of those muscles you want to deffinitly hit from all angles in my old routine I worked mainly with dumbbells and did: Flat, Incline, and Decline Dumbbell Presses and found those to wo...more

What shoulder workout has worked best for you?
For the shoulders the only exercises I did that actually focused on that muscle was the shoulder roll, and overhead presses. Apperantly I had strong shoulders cause the load was never really heavy on my shoulders till I got up pass the 100lbs mark but I always worked them out light (30lbs-50lbs) with higher reps (10-15). I think though I'm going to change that in my new program and see where it takes me so stay tuned! For the shoulders the only exercises I did that actually focused on that muscle was the shoulder roll, and overhead presses. I love these 2 exercises cause they give me a long stretch and I really get that mind muscle connection when I do these exercises I mean I really can visualize that muscle working. The only thing is getting the form correct on both exercises you really have to practice and you really...
Realizing your goals and then pursuing them are the 2 best things you can possibly do in this lifetime.
Good luck on the transformation, MAD REP. You can do it man
Awesome achievement on your weight loss! That's great that you are surrounding yourself with the motivation by working at a gym. I was kind of bummed out with my own progress so I decided to search and see how many people were like me and yours came up. You definitely have inspired to keep going. Good luck and I know you will reach your goal!!! :)
What up man!? Ain't herd from you in a while. I droped another 2 lbs, lets see if i can keep it of!! How goes your battle? Fight the fight and keep at it!!
Hey dude!
Thanks for checking in on me. definitely appreciated. I've been piss busy with school in the last week and the shoulder has been acting up so i decided that it was a good time to take a week off the gym. Thanks for the tunes i likem. How have the workouts been going? I'll be back to my normal routine probably starting monday so you'll see more of me around.
ya, you have to be kind of sick in the head to do this..but no more than geting punched and kicked!! All in how you look at it. Got a max bench of 430..not what i wanted but hay. Take it easy.
I am gonna post new pics - prob is that thetre is not a lot of difference as its only a few lbs in body mass. might have to get all posey and start posting bicep pics or similar.
You're so lucky your body responds so well to cardio! I am still working on figuring out my body and geting that mind/body connection down. :) My goal is to see all of my abs by April 12th, so we'll see if I make it! :)
Good to here that things went well. I prorbibly should have a more specific plan as to what i am trying to acheve, other than just staying on unbelts. (Check out the first video on my site to know what unbelts means) Keep working and let me know how things are this week.
Hi Princeton - how is it - diet plan looks solid my man. Should help , just used an unusual cutplan myself but it belted out over 10lbs in 7 days and got me to target so i was happy with it.
