I started while deployed last year then fell off the wagon...I'm ready to start again!
Why I Love It:
The challenge. Being healthy isn't just something I do, it's a job requirement. It adds depth and a new dimension to what I was already doing.
How I Stay Motivated:
Sometimes, its realizing how far I backslid...other times, I force it.
BB Accomplishments:
Adding 10 lbs last deployment. I don't plan on competing so my accomplishments are not titles, they're me.

Where do you mainly workout?
Gym
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
It's a small gym on a small base....not often crowded but then there's not much to crowd either.

I tend to stick to the free ones on base. I just try to avoid the times/gyms when the egolift club (bench and curl chapter)and the socialites have their little get-togethers.

Added heavybag drills to chest day...HIGHLY recommended, for every reason.

Shooting for much lower volume lately...

Ha ha! Yeah, I finally figured out that if you want to gain weight you have to eat more. Wishing you would gain weight won't do it. A shocking discovery, I know!
