Hey! I left BS only for a while... a blast from the past started giving me some probs so me and the hubby saw it to be best to get rid of the bodyspace for now:( I hope your training is going good, stay strong.

Thanks! Happy New Year:) Hey, I was doing legs yesterday and was using a machine I meant to tell u about, The hip abduction and hip adduction, great for inner and outer legs:) I love that machine, use light weights at first cause you'll feel it the next day:)

*I can't believe I am just finding out about this board* I guess better late, than never!
You made it from the start to finish and that's all that matters on your first marathon, Are you still running?? you should do another marathon in a few months and try to better that time. Fair play to you and well done as I know the effort, time and dedication you put it.
I eat a fairly clean, plain diet. Lean protein: chicken breast, turkey breast, egg whites, orange roughy, some salmon, ostrich, and bison. Complex carbs: oatmeal, brown rice, and sweet potatoes. LOTS of veggies (spinach, zucchini, tomatoes, green beans, leaf lettuce, cucumbers, etc)!! To get super lean, I cut out fruit and dairy for a SHORT time only. Five to six meals a day (utilizing Meal Replacement shakes with a 40/20g protein/ carb gram count!) Each meal around 300 calories each.
I only do four basic ab exercises: Crunches holding a medicine ball overhead, wood chops also using the medicine ball, reverse crunches with the ball between my knees, and hanging leg raises. I only do abs twice a week and with a regular set/rep rangeā¦4 sets/15 reps. I believe a lot of the definition also comes from heavy compound lifts such as deep (below parallel) squats, clean and press, bench press, and so on. I keep my abs tight for ALL exercises!
