This is me with my pregnant cousin. Look at my face and arm...gosh. It's strange how you do not realize whtat you are doing to your body with the bad food you are putting into it. I have gained about 20lbs since I started Nursing school. Going from a serving job, where I am constanly moving to...
I accomplished a goal that I have been wanting to do for a while now and it feels great! It's strange, I thought that I would be in the best shape ever after training for this, but the truth is actually reversed. I have never wieghed this much in my life! My diet is out of control and...
Eat as clean as possible, just one day at a time.0
Goal (Long):
I have this thing I do...I buy these fitness magazines, google fitness models, come on here and look at before and after pictures, all for motivation to help me get on the right track, but while this is going on I am sitting on my butt thinking about what I want to do instead of actually doing it! Well, it's time to stop that! Its' time to do it instead of picture it. I know I have this body under all this fat that is so ready to come out, but I am not letting my self succeed. I am the one holding me back! Time to take charge and start losing the fat! I want to dedicate my life to health and fitness. I have always wanted to do it and I have all the information and help to do so here! at my reach. I know what to do now it's just time to do it!
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Well, I have read that it's not good to compare. Everyone has a different body type and genetics. I feel that it would be really hard to look like someone else. I just want a lot more muscle and to lean out!Well, I have read that it's not good to compare. Everyone has a different body type and genetics. What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I completed my first marathon yesterday and I am super sore today. I have come to the conclusion that running a marathon is a huge accomplishment and I should begin to eat and train like the person that I want to be/become. I have always wanted to complete a marathon and now that is one of...
Yes, I am super motivated...Your words of support really meant a lot to me! Thanks!!!
*I can't believe I am just finding out about this board* I guess better late, than never!
You made it from the start to finish and that's all that matters on your first marathon, Are you still running?? you should do another marathon in a few months and try to better that time. Fair play to you and well done as I know the effort, time and dedication you put it.
I eat a fairly clean, plain diet. Lean protein: chicken breast, turkey breast, egg whites, orange roughy, some salmon, ostrich, and bison. Complex carbs: oatmeal, brown rice, and sweet potatoes. LOTS of veggies (spinach, zucchini, tomatoes, green beans, leaf lettuce, cucumbers, etc)!! To get super lean, I cut out fruit and dairy for a SHORT time only. Five to six meals a day (utilizing Meal Replacement shakes with a 40/20g protein/ carb gram count!) Each meal around 300 calories each.
I only do four basic ab exercises: Crunches holding a medicine ball overhead, wood chops also using the medicine ball, reverse crunches with the ball between my knees, and hanging leg raises. I only do abs twice a week and with a regular set/rep rangeā¦4 sets/15 reps. I believe a lot of the definition also comes from heavy compound lifts such as deep (below parallel) squats, clean and press, bench press, and so on. I keep my abs tight for ALL exercises!
Thanks for Add.
I am doing a combination of things.
1) Lots of Cardio (5 days per week)
2) Weight training (5-6 days per week)
3) Clean diet (as much as possible -incorporating protein powder daily)
4) Supplements (multi vitamins)
5) FatBurner (Lipo-6X)
6) Positive Thinking (Really works :)
I wish you all the best in your journey! Stay intouch :)
Cardio 5xs a week in the mornings in a fasted state (30-45 min sessions) and try out the 5x5 weight program (the link is on my page). That should give you some results!
