Background

When I Started: May 2005
HOW I STARTED:

I began taking my involvement in Irish Dance and Running more seriously, realizing that if I wanted to be the best, I had to train the best.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love that feeling that comes when I push my body past it's own limits, when my heart wants to explode and my legs grow numb. The pain is comforting, the agony; relief. The world around me makes sense as my breathing is the only sound I can hear. Nothing else matters, except for that one moment, that chance to show my strength.

It's one thing to try to lose wieght, it's a hole nother struggle to put wieght on, and remain lean, on top of coming vack from an eating disorder. She inspires me to stay convicted, no matter what.
