When I Started:
May, 1985
How I Started:
A Coach referred me to a Hard Core Sweaty Guys Gym to Cross Train for Kempo Karate & Full Contact Karate, Classical Dance and Swimsuit Modeling. Two decades ago when most women thought it was crazy, I fell in love with sculpting my body and then competing in women's NPC Bodybuilding and now my second time around NPC/IFBB Figure and Womens BB.
Why I Love It:
Muscles feel great and look sensuous! It is a solitary sport/craft that requires only MY focus, desire and energy to achieve the results I want and can depend on. Allows me to showcase my unique body style and fierce workout ethic. It is my way to give thanks to God for blessing me with a healthy body from the start. Working out is a necessary part of my life and it accentuates my artistic, competitive, athletic and feminine nature. Most importantly it makes me a better person as a whole.
How I Stay Motivated:
Focusing on Now and the good things that will come. I love creating art and my body is my canvas. Always been self motivated. Setting a goal, progressing and accomplishing it. Addicted to the PUMP, feeling Unique, Timeless, Great, and sharing & teaching my passion to others and watching them succeed! Competing and meeting inspirational people from all over the World keeps me well informed and enthusiastic.
BB Accomplishments:
Reclaiming the passion I thought I had lost. Current NPC National Figure and Womens BB Qualified Athlete. 2007 NPC State Champion. Feb 2008 competed in the Arnold Amatuer Classic Figure (16th) and in July 2008 the USA Figure Nationals in Vegas (16th). USA Chicago Jr. Nationals June 18 2009 (16th). 2009 Masters Nationals July 18 2009 Crossover multi classed Figure(12th)and BB (17th). In the 1980's competed in NPC Bodybuilding and placed top in class in state twice and in top three in five regionals before having my three children.

MY BELIEF AND FAITH IS STRONGER THAN YOUR DOUBT AND FEAR.....
First State Comp in late 80's. BB lightweight routine to Luther Vandross. Sorry for crappy picture of picture with cell. Shortly after this contest I put my Olympia Dreams on hold for quite a while to care for my son born with CP and Dandy Walker.
Because he is married to Denise. DAAAh? Seriously. He gives me the skinny on getting my PHAT in check for my contests. Passionate about helping me be my best and being smart about nutrition is a bonus. You are the best.
Haha.. 1 prob.. I dislike science. But i luv Bodybuilding. Hv 2 accept da fact tat it's related to Science. Any suggestions? I tot a Fitness cert & work experience will do the job?! XD I'm jst a beginner.
