How I Started:
Started working out during college and have continued it off and on since 2000. Decided after getting a Bachelor's in Nutrition, that I wanted to become a personal trainer for a while until I decided the route I wanted to take with my nutrition. I loved training so much, that I decided I wanted to focus primarily on it!
Why I Love It:
I LOVE the way it makes me feel AFTER I'm done! I love meeting people with intense passions for the hobby and the industry because it pushes me to stay on track and to do more! I love knowing that I don't have to force myself to go to the gym, that I have made it a part of my lifestyle so much, that it just comes natural to me to go.
How I Stay Motivated:
I try new things... I dabble into mountain biking, rock climbing, Cross Fit (which I just stated and I LOVE!!), distance running, group training... Websites like this are great because you're not the only one keeping yourself accountable! It makes me want to do well so that I can show others my progress!

Goal (Overall):
I want to lose 5-7% body fat and lose about 10 lbs total.
Goal (Long):
I want to lose body fat in my waist, and thighs. I'm pretty happy with my upper body, though I'd like to tone up my back more. I am going to be consistent with doing CrossFit since it is a total body/functional hell-of-a-workout, and track my progress from doing that as well as increasing my running distance. I would like to lose the body fat and the 10 lb and KEEP IT OFF by the time my hubby gets back from Iraq.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
15 usually. If I'm wanting to build strength, I go down to 10 reps and up the weight.

Unfortunately no. I had some appointments in the morning, so I couldn't go this Saturday, and on top of that I work every Saturday the rest of this month! @%#! that really sucks! I am pretty bummed about it, but what can I do.. quit my job? I wish, lol.

Yes, I'm on Futenma. McCutcheon is a pretty decent gym, hot and humid, but it's got a lot of space. It also has an aerobics room that I utilize for some crossfit workouts.
