How I Started:
I've been working out for awhile! Used to play soccer, then once I got a driver's license I started going to the gym. I started the "correct" work-out & diet this January, finally getting into the mindset of what I want to look like and where I want to be!
Plus a loser ex-boyfriend is always a great motivator :-)
It also helps to know the correct way to work-out and eat :-)
Why I Love It:
The way it makes my body look & keeps me out of trouble!

Hey everyone, thanks for the positive and well, "constructive cricism" comments, I really appreciate it. I would like to thank you all individually & I will do my best, but that may take all day, & I actually do have a day job, which gets in the way of that. Nevertheless, thank you and I appreciate it greatly! :-)

Okay, so here is the WAAAAY before, January. This is where it all started....~22% bf, 125 lbs. I worked out, but still ate whatever and drank. Not too fond of this picture...but this is strictly to show that I have busted my @$$! :-)
1. Need to learn how to use my Digital Camera
2. I think my thighs are massive! I gotta make 'em stop growing & somehow just get them more CUT! Grrrrr!
For building muscle: 4 sets of no more than 10 reps (heavy)
For defining the muscle: 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps (lighter - but still a challenge)

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Depends on the muscle group, 30-45 sec avg, I try not to let my heart rate drop too much since I don't do much cardio.

What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
I thought the more I work-out & the less I eat, the more weight I will lose....BOY was I wrong! I eat for a family of five now & work-out a 3rd of the time!

I work out 6 days a week, 3-4 exercises per muscle group. I vary my sets/reps every couple weeks to change it up (I get bored easy); I also change my weight accordingly. I do lots...

I got the same problem! If I do legs I cant fit in my jeans so I just dont do them...They get kick and shape from cardio and thats it...
