As a national judo finalist several years ago I was a progressive athlete with a promising future, aiming for the Olympics. With persisting injuries I had to let go of years of training and allow for recovery. Several years and 4 titanium pins in my shoulder later, I continue to grow. It is a different game, but the rules are the same: pressing on, going hard, aiming to be the best.
Why I Love It:
Did I choose It or did It choose me? It is an extension of who I am, a manifest of character and strength, coming from within. It is more than a sport, it is an art form... it takes me beyond the ordinary.
How I Stay Motivated:
It has gone way past "looking good" into a sphere of striving for perfection. There is never a finish line, there is never a last rep. I am on a quest to become my own masterpiece.
BB Accomplishments:

My body has undergone tremendous transformation over the past year: bigger shoulders, bigger arms, a six pack. My upper body is where it needs to be with a little fine-tuning left, however I still need to decrease hip and thigh measurement... just a little more to go.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 7 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
Upcoming Contest:
WA Ironman, and Nationals next year

Hey stranger, hope your doing well! See you on stage at some point.
Good Morning, We are having a FREE weight loss seminar on February 5th in Marysville. It will be at the High school. It is at 6:00 pm. If you know any one who might be interested. I have posted a flier on my page. Hope you have a great New Years!!
Congrats on your September victory. I have been watching your progress along with the results of your competitions and have been wishing for you to be the very best that you can be. You have successfully improved at each and every showing and that is the true mark of a champion. Keeping up the very hard and great work is the way you shall achieve all of your goals.
Yup, scope a brah out! Fourth contest downrange, chalk one up for experience - lowest placing so far but at my heaviest weight so I'm just happy to hold ANY lean mass over 200lbs., it's getting harder to stay lean at this young age and cruiser weight...makes me more motivated to stay consistent!
We are doing great. We go to sac in two weeks to judge a show there and then August 11th is our show in Arlington. We are getting excited! You will do great in the USA's good luck and kick some butt!!
Seeing as you live just down the highway (I5) from British Columbia I consider you a neighbor so in the most neighborly way I want to say that you are looking awesome and I wish you much success in July. Your training and hard work are obviously paying off.
Keep gettin' after it!
Well...last nite I took 1st LtHvyWt...by default! What can I say? 20 middleweights and 2 at LtHeavy AND Heavy, second guy didn't come back after prejudging - what was that?! I'll take it as a warm-up for next months show, should be tougher, gotta DL the digital's soon as I find my camera cord ;o}
Oops! Sorry to hear about the crazy tailgater - you gotta check the rear view all the time now, without smashing the guy to YOUR front! Some good massuese therapy might fix you right, if not, there's always the old chinese guy with the needles... ;o}
Man I been changin' up my routine, adding more weight and hittin hard all week! Yesterday was 4 sets leg ext+leg curl whole stack, superset with toe raises (whole stack) then ass to the grass squats (only 135 now) superste with seated toe raise; then pulley crunches and hanging leg wheels (raise with a turn)...Today, I just want to SLEEP!
