How I Started:
I am deployed right now and I wanted to lean up a bit. I've always had a little bit of a belly and I want to lose it. I have some free time here in the evenings when I'm not on missions, so I'm working at it. :)
Why I Love It:
I am excited for the progess that I've seen and just the way that I feel. I've never really felt 'sexy' but I'm working on it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to look good for myself and have a better self image. I am tired of feeling less than other men.

I want to lose my spare tire and build up my chest and arms.
Goal (Long):
I have always had a hard time getting my abs to show. I want to be able to lose my excess fat. I know that when I do that, the rest of my muscles will then show and I'll look better. After that, then I want to build up my arms and chest. I like my back and legs as they are but I'll keep working on them too. :)
I have just recently tried to shape my body by working out. I'm one of those guys that likes the 'idea' of working out but only has that last for about a week. (If that!) Since I deployed here, I was determined to make a stronger effort to work out and I started on the bike machine. I...
I work out every other day with weights and do cardio on off days.
Since I don't have a 'day off' I keep a consistent schedule.
Warm up:
50 slow situps
20 side bends for each side on whatever that 'stand' is that holds your feet while you bend down and on the sides.

Thank you for great compliment. You look like you are already well on your way. I would start bulking now... More muscle, burns more calories. I know it will be tough with the chow hall and MRE selection. Just keep away from the simple sugars and high fructose corn syrups if you can.
