As a kid growing up I was always a fan of He-Man, and I would constantly play all Arnold and Van Damme movies over and over again. Towards the end of high school my Dad got real serious down in my basement. So I started picking up the weights as well. The he was like try this shake after your workout it was Ice Cream and 2 scoops of Whey Protein. I was hooked from that point on.
Why I Love It:
Because if I were playing a team sport everyone gets the reward, in the end its only me that gets the satisfaction.

This was my second show, I had cut all water 3 days prior to jumping on stage. Came in looking like I was a swimmer rather then weight banger. Oh well you live and learn.
It is a few years later and I am really starting to learn the importance of how important diet really is. I plan on bringing a better package each and every 6 months from here on out. Mr Buffalo and a Pro Card I can not only see but feel is in my near future. I need but 2 things in my arsenal WILL a ...
After my contest Prep is done I plan on going on my first ever clean bulk. Each week I plan on changing everything, workouts, food cunsumption, and supplements, to keep my body guessing and growing. In 2 years in my Buffalo area there are 3 shows all about 1-2 weeks a part I plan on competing in...
Wow! You sure do know what you're doing with diet! The conditioning that you've achieved is nothing short of amazing. I had to laugh at your comment about dropping water for 3 days and then coming in looking like a swimmer. Yup, we all live and learn!

Hey Joe I dropped you a PM the other day did you have a chance to read it. Don't mean to bug you but I trust what you have to say. Also any recent pics how is the bulking coming.

If you ever want to give me some tips on how to carry out a successful cut, be my guest. I would appreciate it. I've never done a cut, so I don't know the best way to approach it
I may do the NPC Indianapolis comp in June, if I have added enuf size to my delts and chest by March. I'm 51 and natural, so it's damned hard to add lean mass these days. I wanna do a 50 and Over Masters and WIN!
Hey man how are you? I live in cheektowaga.. I worked out at golds north for a few months when I moved up here, but couldnt stand the one guy there so now I'm at fitness 19. It gets the job done, but the hours suck. Yeah I want to compete someday, but never feel big enough to cut.Not really sure on the whole thing yet. I just know I want to continue to grow. I don't know if your stats are old but you look a lot bigger then it says. Either way, keep lifting hardcore!
My metabolism is now very fast and it's hard to gain weight but very easy to lean. For the 2005 Can Am, i didn't do one minute of cardio ... and got dry but not as much as the 2003 Musclemania Canada East where i got 2 nd in the MW (as you can see on my bodyspace profile pic).
I was kind of fat in 1992 (217 lbs) and over the years, with proper nutrition, i leaned down. Today, even around 200 lbs, i can still stay quite lean and perform in the gym. I guess it's all those years of eating clean. My macro was 300 grams of protein, 80 grams of carbs (in the last weeks before the show) and 50 grams of fat.
