Ever since I graduated high school, everything went down hill. Entering college, and soon after joining the corporate world. I sat on my butt a lot… In high school I was very active in sports and marching band. So, after a couple of years in the working world I gained thirty pounds. I was sick of being fat, so I started a membership at Gold’s Gym. That was the best thing I ever did, because now I am working to see improvement. I want to be healthy, and I will strive to do the best that I can. I hired a personal trainer to get me started, and now I love working out.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it is fun and relaxing to me. That is my personal time to reflect on my day. Nothing like pain to relax you huh... lol... But like said, I enjoy working out.
How I Stay Motivated:
How do I stay motivated??? I guess it is when I look at myself in the mirror and see me. I am not happy with the way that I look, nor am I comfortable with the way I look. Not many people know the embarrassment of going to six flags and not fitting into a ride, because your butt is too big. Well, I do… So I think of that, I think of how I want to change myself for the better. I think of what I want to be like… Some people that I look up to are my personal trainer Jeremy, Monica Brant, and a few others at the gym. Basically I want to be healthy, and that is what motivates me…

I have lost a few inches in my waist line... :)

Goal (Long):
All of my life I have been over weight and have always wanted a body that I can be proud of.
I want a body that I don't have to worry about shoping for cloths, because not every store will carry my size over 40 waist.
I don't want to settle for being average by todays standards, which is over weight!
I want to have a six pack (I know it's there somewhere) and feel confident about my body. I want my arms to bulge from under my sleeves like the owner of the gym. I would like to be 200 pounds, with 12% bodyfat, and be able to do at least 350 on the bench press. I know with full dedication I can do this!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
One of my favorites is the elliptical machine… That thing is total body cardio if you ask me… On Saturdays I like to take part in the spin class with Stephanie. She is a hard-core teacher and is guaranteed to make you lose weight…

Wow... It is very hard to lose weight when your surrounded by cheaters and bad eaters huh. If you really start hammering down on what you eat by looking at the back of food labels. It really depresses you. Especially if you go to your favorite restaurants and research the amount of calories...
Saturday ~ Free Day (I usually work back and legs)
I to interval training were I switch between exercises in 1 minute intervals...
*Dead Lifts-95lb (as many as I can do in 1 min.)
*Squat-95lb (as many as I can do in 1 min.)
*Bench Press-45lb (as many as I can do in 1 min.)
Hey thanks for the rating. My background avi pic reminds me of yours -green and funky! Training is back on track - just trying to deal with two popped ribs and it is hard to train when it is painful to breathe!! Hurry up with those progress pics eh! ;)
Good for you! I am doing good. I have slowed down somewhat and I am still losing weight?? Can't complain. Look forward to your pic's - let me know when you post them :).

My long weekend was last week (Canada) and it was perfect. But since then it has been raining every day - uggg! Good to hear from you. Hope all is well with you.
i think it is a good idea for couples to work out together...it makes the relationship stronger (not only physically :) I started by him asking me to spot him..then I wanted to start working out and with his help i am making progress :)
Has the noxplode ever kind of "blown" the container after you mixed it? Fisher33 was shaking it in my car and forgot to relieve the pressure between shakes and it sounded like a gun shot went off and it blew noxplode all over my car. (it scared us both but it was quite funny) :)
