Ever since I graduated high school, everything went down hill. Entering college, and soon after joining the corporate world. I sat on my butt a lot… In high school I was very active in sports and marching band. So, after a couple of years in the working world I gained thirty pounds. I was sick of being fat, so I started a membership at Gold’s Gym. That was the best thing I ever did, because now I am working to see improvement. I want to be healthy, and I will strive to do the best that I can. I hired a personal trainer to get me started, and now I love working out.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of the feeling that it gives me. When I put an end to a long day, I put all my frustration out on the weights. That is my personal time to reflect on my day. Nothing like pain to relax you huh... lol... But like said, I enjoy working out.
How I Stay Motivated:
How do I stay motivated??? I guess it is when I look at myself in the mirror and see me. I am not happy with the way that I look, nor am I comfortable with the way I look. Not many people know the embarrassment of going to six flags and not fitting into a ride, because your butt is too big. Well, I do… So I think of that, I think of how I want to change myself for the better. I think of what I want to be like… Some people that I look up to are my personal trainer Jeremy, Monica Brant, and a few others at the gym. Basically I want to be healthy, and that is what motivates me…

In this picture my weight was 320lb. I had decided that the only way to guarantee my weight loss was to set a goal. I entered a mountain bike race and finished last... Last meaning if completed nine miles.
Woo hoo... Man boobs are getting smaller :D I feel so much better in this body than the one from the first picture. I can't wait to be smaller..

Goal (Long):
All of my life I have been over weight and have always wanted a body that I can be proud of.
I want a body that I don't have to worry about shopping for cloths, because not every store will carry my size over 40 waist.
I don't want to settle for being average by today's standards, which is over weight!
I want to have a six pack (I know it's there somewhere) and feel confident about my body. I want my arms to bulge from under my sleeves like the owner of the gym. I would like to be 200 pounds, with 12% bodyfat, and be able to do at least 350 on the bench press. I know with full dedication I can do this!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
One of my favorites is the elliptical machine… That thing is total body cardio if you ask me… On Saturdays I like to take part in the spin class with Stephanie. She is a hard-core teacher and is guaranteed to make you lose weight…

Wow... It is amazing today because I have beaten my evil roadblock. I have let my weight spiral out of control to the point that I weighed a whopping 320lb. It was so depressing to have to really weigh that much. I have been battling that weight for quite some while until recently.
Saturday ~ Free Day (I usually work back and legs)
I to interval training were I switch between exercises in 1 minute intervals...
*Dead Lifts-95lb (as many as I can do in 1 min.)
*Squat-95lb (as many as I can do in 1 min.)
*Bench Press-45lb (as many as I can do in 1 min.)
Good to hear my friend. I am good. Still sick and I am wondering if there is a end to this hell..... just kidding....i suck being sick... Sun and birds are out today :)
Thats awesome! I am so proud of you. Feels great doesn't it? I'm in the process of selling my home, etc. so very busy. No school yet. Just trying to figure my life! Keep in touch ;).
Congratulations on your weight loss so far! You're doing incredibly well! It's easier said than done, but it takes real determination to get off your butt and work it off! Keep it up :)

I think I just want to be fit and healthy really. I enjoy looking after my body. I'm training for a charity run at the moment so that's a short term goal.
