How I Started:
I began working out when I was 24. I weighed about 165 pounds and was beginning to develop a bit of a gut. Embarrassed at how I began to look, I set out to hit the gym and improve myself..and the rest is history...
Why I Love It:
It's addicting. A great stress reliever. The extra attention is definitely a bonus!

BB Accomplishments:
Repping 225 on bench 14 times. Benching 305. Deadlifting 450. Getting to 8% bodyfat. Sticking to a diet for more than a few weeks.
For the 2+ years I've been lifting I've always kept the rest time relatively high, 2 or more minutes. This was ideal for strength training, but not hypertrophy. Last week I began training with very short rest periods, under 60 seconds. My lifts have gone down, but I've been getting a better pump....
