How I Started:
Loved Janet Jackson. I fell in love with her abs when I was like 12(I did 500 sit-ups a day for some time because I heard she did it). My Dad took me to Bally's with him & my best friend is into lifting, so I've worked out on & off for years. After college, drinking, Clubbing hard, & eating whenever and whatever I wanted left me ummotivated, broke & lethargic all the time. I was starting to look like the women in my family whose body's were less than stellar and like most, I saw a photo of myself one day that wasn't too cute. I started reading books on living a healthy lifestyle(Diabetes & bad acne run in the family) and followed their advice, but even after all the headway I made, I wasn't proud of the body I had. I was skinny fat, with absolutely no muscle tone. My best friend had been going to the gym for years so I just asked to tag along one day, did my first circuit workout & I loved how it made me feel and some of the definition I began to see.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel. I feel stronger, confident & in control by making the choices that will help me improve myself - mind, body, & soul.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am hoping by changing my attitude about health & fitness that I can inspire others to believe in themselves enough to invest in a similar fashion. Plus the thought of having a six pack, and a long lean ripped body just melts my butter, LOL :)

I truly love my body. I've been blessed at a young age to realize the amazing potential that I have to acheive anything I want in life. I want to have the body that other people want to have. I don't believe in genetic limitations or letting a number on a scale rule my life. The only excuses I'll accept are the ones that get me in the gym & keep me eating in a manner that support my fitness goals. It is truly a labor of love & I'm humbled by the process...I will be fierce ;)

What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
Natural Seasonings...I don't care for salt so much...So I will usually put things like Peppercorn, Thyme, Basil, Cilantro, Orgegano, Red peppers on any vegtables.

it was frickin hot as heck out there. but its all good now that im home. so you met some one eh. thats good right? lucky guy! Thx for your message...You must feel exhausted...if you want I can write you a workout schedule for training all muscle groups twice a week including your cardio. My PT Mascha Tieken (IFBB Pro Figure) gave me good advice! All I need to know is what you are eating now and how your current workout schedule is, and your goal of course! Send it via private pls
So you work out during the day then, like at lunch or something? I have not been able to really enjoy the weather lately. I have been so busy. But I do work construction so I do get outside! How about you?
Regarding your question why to eat fruit on an empty stomach: Fruit is processed differently through your system than other food, it will actually start rotting if you eat fruit after a meal (except red fruit). So eat 2.5-3 hours after a meal or in the morning when you wake up...when do you have your weight training? Michael

My wife will not work out with me either. She works hard though, making money not muscle though but I guess that's ok too. LOL
