How I Started:
I was tired of being tired and tired of being fat. At first I just changed how and what I ate. That was good for 43lbs. I started working out and fell in love with it. Since November I have lost another 14lbs and added lean muscle. I was a 12 and now I wear a 2.
Why I Love It:
Endorphin junkie. I just love how I feel.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror. Plus, the energy level is addicting. I look and feel better now than I did at 25.

This is the "before" picture I dug up. I am near my heaviest of 164.
Minus 57 lbs and holding. Continuing to add muscle and lower bodyfat.
What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
I tried to eat a high protein low carb diet most of the time. I eat my largest meal at lunch and a light dinner. After reading articles here I have recently added a small breakfast of yogurt, oatmeal, or a hard boiled egg. I use South Beach Protein bars for a snack in the afternoon after I work out. I do drink lots of water and will only drink a coke if I eat pizza which isn't often. I still love coffee but I am trying to cut it back to only two cups a day - one at home -one at the office.I tried to eat a high protein low carb diet most of the time. What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
It is almost like Extreme Makeover. In two days I leave for a vacation. I am visiting friends in South Florida where I used to live then heading the the Florida Keys for some R & R.

well, i have a favorite pair that get's alot of time in the washer.. some people might consider that OCD, but hey I swear that one pair gives me that little extra edge on the weight pile.. Anyway I do have a few others that I use on other occasions.. But when I have to go heavy I go for the oldies..
