How I Started:
I decided one day that I needed to do something about my weight.
Why I Love It:
I find that when I go to the gym, I am getting some "me" time. It feels good that I am doing something to improve my quality of health.
How I Stay Motivated:
That's what I really need to work on. I used to have a friend that worked there and we would work out together. He found a new job and doesn't go anymore, so basically, I work out by myself. I found though, that when I went with someone, I pushed myself harder!

Okay, it's time to get serious again!  My New Years Resolution is to lose 50lbs by July 1!  I will do this! January 1, watch out!

Good luck with your goals! I am in the same boat, as I workout by myself also. Mine is because I do shift work and work weird hours.
