How I Started:
I've worked out for the last 7 years in the past frequently and obsessively at times to compensate for a chest injury. It was a doc's recommendation. I just fell out of it over the last 2 years from work and family life. I'm anxious to get back into it.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of being healthy and strong. Having the energy to go the extra mile and playing sports not to mention looking good also.
How I Stay Motivated:
Keeping up with progress and gains. Talking to others trying to reach their goals also. Watching my kids run like nothing can stop them.Working out with partners and my wonderful wife rachlou82.

Trying to lift hard through January and eat clean consistently.
Goal (Long):
I'd like to get more cut and defined overall. Possibly pick up a few lbs of muscle, but I like being light weight and not having to inhale as much food as required to make large gains. My main goal is to be strong especially compared to my body weight.
Yah I hear you. I had the same issues over Christmas. I started back on December 27th because I couldn't stand myself anymore. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
Great progress, really something for me to aspire to howeveer currently being at uni there to many oppertunities for me to cheat, how do you keep yourself so motivated?
I find that when I crash during my workouts 3 things could have happened:
1) I didn't eat 1 hour before I worked out
2) I didn't eat enough carbs before I worked out.
3) I didn't drink enough water during the day. Water is huge for keeping yourself from crashing. Good luck.
Life is busy but things are great. With work, 2 kids and staying healthy it keeps a guy busy. However all the workouts and healthy eating is giving me more energy that is allowing me to get more done each day then when I wasn't working out or planning meals. I have lost 9 lbs but gained a lot of muscle I am sure. New pics in 5 days!
