Basically, I'll admit it! I'm a person who is not happy with what I have become! A Fat Ass! I now I am having health issues and self esteem issues. I have deemed 2009 "The year of Personal Vengence,"and dedicating myself to self improvement physically, spiritually, and mentally.
Why I Love It:
It has become a lifestyle for me. On days I can't get to the gym, I get pissed because I feel like it is a wasted day. It allows me to focus on me physically and mentally.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look in the mirror and photos of when I was younger and in the military. I remember how things were for me before I got married and became complacent with my life. Now that I am divorced, I want to get the body back that I had when I was younger, and I read the 2008 contract that I wrote for myself every morning.
BB Accomplishments:
To date, fasting blood glucose has remained under 110 with diet and exercise modifications. Have dropped my BF% from over 40% down to 24% so far.

I'm Back! My Goal is to drop my weight down to about 220 and shredd up!
Goal (Long):
"2009-I'm Back with a vengenge!"
Well my 2008 goals ended poorly after developing a severe pneumonia and ending up in the hospital for 10 days. I lost 20 lbs the wrong way while hospitalized having no appetite for 2-3 weeks except for ice water. The only good thing to come of it-was I quit smoking!
Now I'm Back! I have installed my own gym in the garage including treadmill, multibench, independent bench, free weights, stereo, and TV. I have a county bike trail less than a mile away from my home, and I have a membership to the gym at my work place. I want to drop down to 200-220 and have a body I can be proud of.
My goal is do cardio 5-6 times a week, circuit training 4 times a week, and abs 6 days a week resting on sundays.
My goal is to complete this before my 41st birthday next February.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
In my case-Squats-I have bad knees from my military days, and if I put to much weight on the bar or go down alittle to far, my knees may collapse under me-so I generally stick with leg presses, leg extensions, Hamstring curls, but may throw in some light squats with higher reps at the end to get a real burn.In my case-Squats-I have bad knees from my military days, and if I put to much weight on the bar or go down alittle to far, my knees may collapse under me-so I generally stick with leg presses, leg ex...more
Currently, I have been using Hydroxycuts Hardcore by muscleTech, but to be honest, I don't think they are doing much for me. Does anyone have any suggestions on more effective thermogenics. I looked for Amphetalean as recommended but was unable to find it. I am considering Trying Lipo6X...
I workout 4 days aweek on my off days from working my regular job at the poison Center. Some days involve a morning and evening workout. Abdominal exercises are done with every workout. Cardio starts with a 15 minute warm-up prior to weight training, and after weight training involves a 30...
