they have me on as a pitcher but they do not want me to hit...we had a scrimmage and i hit a huge double and got 3 RBI's....i think they should use me for hitting too but w/e im on the team! :)
No dude, not that far down. Your arm makes a 90 degree angle like an inch or 2 before you touch your chest so your arms look like a goalpost. Stop there, anywhere down further puts a ton of stress on your shoulder.
Nice dude sounds like a great start. Jobes are kinda like bands, just a different type. This site has decent demonstrations of them: http://www.thecompletepitcher. com/pitching_workouts.htm
Well you are going to hate it man but try to do dumbbells instead of bar and only go down to 90 degrees. Coaches are really big on inclines since they get your shoulder a little too. Make sure you aren't doing a whole lot of biceps and get your legs, shoulders, and triceps as strong as you can. Those are clutch. Do you know what jobes are?
Be careful on the chest workouts if you are trying to pitch man! Let me know if you need any workouts or anything. I have a bunch of different MLB workout programs I picked up the last few years.
When I was your age, I used to live on Andro-6 by EAS, Phosphagen by EAS, and Acetabolan orignal formula by Muscletech. You won't find these anymore lol, sucks, I basically used creatines, pro hormones and ate alot of food at your age, didn't care about cuts at the time.
I go 5 times a week. Once in awhile I sneak off for 6. I added 3 extra days during my lunch hour for just 20 minutes of cardio. I work full time and have kids. I would live there if I could.
