When I was younger I worked out for years, but quit around 1992. For the next 13 years I just ate whatever I wanted and my weight went up and my pants were a 42 inch waist. Finally right before turning 51 I decided to do something about it. I bought a bench and some weights and started to work out. A little later I bought a squat rack and bike, and started to change my diet. Within a year I lost about 60 lbs and my pants are now a 34" waist. I consider myself in better shape now then when I worked out at 30.
Why I Love It:
The best high there is.
How I Stay Motivated:
Thinking about how I looked and felt 60 lbs heavier. I also like to buy some of the muscle magazines and they keep it interesting and keep me motivated.

Here I am at a Polish Polka party. Plenty of food and beer here! 43" pants. Blood pressure kind of high at the time, high enough for medication.
Here I am at 53 after 2 years of working out. Pant size from 43 to 34. Blood pressure normal. Still plan on dieting a little better and loose more fat. Feeling a lot better than before!
