Joined Gold's when I was 15...been working out OFF and ON since then. 3-6 month breaks between programs have been the killer, amazing how much I can regress over those periods.
Why I Love It:
Not having to worry if KFC's still open.
How I Stay Motivated:
-- Have you ever been on this site?? Seriously have avoided cheating at times b/c of my friends here.
-- Reading Art De Vany's blog. The scientific/academic approach to changing your body, mind, and chemistry keeps me interested.

Still looking to nail down a regimen.......conflicted between starting strength type and the kind I've done over the years, traditional BB/Cardio. The latter definitely works, but maybe SS is the way to go? There's also Crossfit which I admire but haven't tried yet.
Yes, it is awesome! You should def come and check it out, even if it is not SWSW, there is the Austin film festival, ACL which is the Austin city limits dealing with music again. The fun, fun fun fest is this weekend which deals with new up coming artist. It is a great active city as well. Lots of outdoors things to do. Many trails to run on by the lake and just an all around great scene. Something that you would have to come and see :)

Im doing well.I have been a little down the last two days Im trying to stay positive and remind myself that getting back into shape is going to take time.Over all I think the workouts are good. Great to hear your progressing,thats awesome!!

Actually, it's funny you ask b/c the last 7 weeks it has been rainy/sleety/cold, and this week it's going to approach 60 degrees! That's ND for ya. I'll probably go ride my Xootr a few more times before we get burried!
Hey one step at a time, as long as you are getting the diet under control, all will follow. Ugh, my arms are killing me right now, take a little time off, and then go back at it, takes a toll on ya! But as they say no pain no gain right!
