How I Started: After running consistently for a few years I wanted to add weight training to tone up.
Why I Love It: I love the way it makes me feel...I love watching my body change for the better. The look of a toned body with definition is the best!!
How I Stay Motivated: I stay motivated by seeing change.
When ppl look surprised, after I tell them I've been married 15 years and mother to a 13 and 10 year old, it's very motivating : )

Finding great motivation on here from other buff mom's!!

I was leaning out quite nicely I thought, I was on the right track... Around 165 lbs here.  I've always had muscualar legs, without trying. I used to HATE my legs..wouldn't wear shorts : ( Now I am appreciating their muscularity.

Roflmao...hate me yet??? teehee. Your doing awesome!! I read your blurb under your leg pic in the progress...I felt the same way for years! Then a few body building women drooled over my legs and enough men told me they were hot as hell...and now I love them!! lol But I TOTALLY could relate!! Just did the olympic lifts from the WOD today...holy cant lift my arms already!

Air squats ROCK!! Ok...well they suck too! Lmao! Did you try the Burpees yet?? I have to go into my blog and make a correction...I was SO cheating on the burpees and didnt realize it until I watched the vid's I posted for everyone! Roflmao...I was skipping the 'pushup' portion and only going to plank! (blush) THAT is why I could do it in 9 minutes!! lmao

Those horses were just soooo beautiful!! And in my defence...at least it wasnt checking out some dude right!! roflmao. There were 3 of them..and they were running the fence line with me!! Oh girl...i fell on my head once trying them! lol Do the negatives...just go down as slow as you can and let your feet drop! This way you will build up your strength to do them!! Thats awesome your still training your friend!!

Well still... thats a good job! Next time you might want to try getting a lil closer to the wall so your not arched so much. See if that helps!
