Jezza84 Just can't seem to get going. Can't put my finger on why everything gym wise has just dropped. Hopefully the weekend away will refresh me.

  • I got like this found gym work mondaying so now use tractor tyre flips and atlas stones and mixed with gym I find visual moving weight is good for brain as you're not just moving weight up and down a weight stack

Jezza84 Somehow by just keeping my diet in check I am still losing fat it seems. Did not think that would be happening. YAY!!

highiso What i tell everyone who has trouble finding their maintenance calories; track EVERYTHING you eat for 14 days, weigh yourself at the same time everyday and that will put you somewhere in the ballpark. Using the scale to track progress however isnt the best option, the mirror & especially pictures tells the real story. Lastly, consistency is the key to everything! Oct 20, 2012 7:21pm

highiso My calories ranged from 1600-2400 when i got to 189 lbs. in my first 20 months. 1600 is way low and i don't suggest doing it, but I was in a hurry to lose the last few pounds for my first summer of being thin. Your calorie needs are based upon your weight at the moment. Do you know your maintenance calories yet? Oct 18, 2012 2:40pm

JonathanWinbush I'm in the same boat as you I take in about 2240 calories a day give or take and when I did the calorie calculator for Jim's program it said to take 4200. I think thats more for bulking up though. I was just going to add another protein shake in the mix so I'm taking in more protein but thats only like an extra 200 calories. Apr 3, 2012 1:22am
