When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I first started working out before I entered high school in 2000 or 2001. I had been into bmx before that and t had been my only form of exercise. I worked out through high school to improve myself but slacked during my senior year due to time constraints because of work and school. When I started at Northern Arizona University, I tried to start again but lacked the motivation in order to really put in an effort. My weight ballooned up 25 pounds and it was then, at the end of 2008 that I really began to start back up again, after 3 years of stagnation.
Why I Love It:
The energy it gives me along with the changes that I get to see in myself are exciting. Only education rivals bodybuilding in its ability to be shaped by your actions, or lack thereof.
How I Stay Motivated:
I should be and can be better then what I am now. I strive to excel in my mental and physical pursuits.
I want my first bulking to end at 200 lean pounds. Cut and head to 215 lean.
Goal (Long):
My long term goal is to be able to pass the Phoenix Police Departments standardized physical fitness test far above the below requirements
1.5 mile run in 7:29-12:18 minutes
40-56 situps in 1 minute
33-100 pushups

I am so happy to hear that Jonathan! I don't have any time for anything else, but it is a good investment, and I am sure you will agree with that now that you are focused! Please keep me in the loop as to how you are doing - I'd like to know!
