What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
I just do it. Even if I don't feel like it. I have short term goals (races, etc) to keep me from "making excuses".

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Set goals, especially short term and always have short term goals. I am a born again Christian and He has allowed me to be “born again with fitness.” I may not be on the street corner with a bible but I believe the Lord wants us to keep a healthy temple so I will be preaching the benefits of fitness to any and all that I can reach. You are doing great and I look forward to seeing where your journey takes you.

Also, certain foods I don't touch even on FREE DAY, so I know what you mean. I hope you're having a relaxing weekend, and with your trust in God, you'll continue to move mountains. :) T
