When I Started:
Feb, 2007
How I Started:
I was so unhappy with my life, my appearance, everything in general. I thought losing some weight would make me feel better. On Feb. 28, 2007, I began following Body for Life, and I've never looked back. I have completely transformed myself, inside and out, and have pushed beyond what I ever thought I could. My body is stronger, my mind is stronger. I feel like anything is possible now.
Why I Love It:
I love the lifting...I feel so strong and so good when I lift. I also love running...mostly! It's a HUGE stress reliever for me. It's something I continually raise the bar on, and shoot for more. When I am working out, whether lifting or running, I feel empowered, I feel in control, and I feel positive.
How I Stay Motivated:
I never want to go back to my old lifestyle. I am so much happier being fit...that is motivation enough.
I was 151, about 36% body fat, and extremely unhappy. I was at such a low, here. I had to do something, and I realized that the only thing I could change in my life was myself.
Here, I weigh 133, was about 15% body fat, and about to run my first 5K. Life threw me some curves, but I never stopped!
Sorry last comment was from me lol. Was wondering why I had to use my email address. I wasn't signed in duh...

Goota love Jersey Girls.... Wondering what that lifestyle change was that prompted you to do the amazing things you have done with your life. I too made a lifestyle decision basicly I took everything that was bad in my life and replaced it with everything that is good. Maybe it's a Jersey thing...
Hi Mon! The CHA diet is alright so far. Only 3 days into it so far. I would think that you would do better with something like the lean mass diet since you run. Did you bring that up to them? I thought they didn't recommend the CHA if running is involved. I don't run right now.
