How I Started:
i was told in 2004, id never walk again after a spinal cord injury, and i dont like to be told "NEVER", i wanted to prove the Doctors wrong, and so far i have,
Why I Love It:
each step i take ,each pound i drop, is one that 2 doctors said id "NEVER" do, they gave up on me, i "never" did, i love my gym, the way it feels when i workout, knowing that i did it, i made it, and i beat the odds
How I Stay Motivated:
after a pity party,and the second doctor telling me youll "never" walk again, i got pissed, i looked at myself, and was grossed out i was 356pds, on painkillers,and steroids, and didnt even know me, i wanted me back, and in 2006 i got off my ass, and in the gym, it was slow going,but its going,
BB Accomplishments:
i went from 356pds to 230, i have lost 126pds since the end of 2006, i have 70 left to go, and im doing everything i was told id "never" do, i cant wait to tell the Doc, I WON!!!!!,
22Aug04, I was told id never walk again, i blew a disk in my lower back, it put me in a wheelchair, for almost 3mts, then after i fought to walk again,then came back operation number two,19Apr05,(i had removed a disk an a half from my lower back), after that i used and "old lady walker", for almost a year, durning that time, i was on painkiller ,and steriords, i gain a ton of weight, i was at one point, 356pds, iam now 230, i have lost 126 pds, my goal is 160, i have 70pds left, i want the doctors who gave up on me to see, that i WON!!!, i not only walk but, i workout everyday, i love my gym, i do water classes, and i love cardio, every step i take, is one they said id never make, i have a dream of becoming a Personal Trainer, and working with people like me, "the ones they gave up on",

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
i put my MP3 player on, and i listen to fast music, and when im at the gym, i check the eye candy out, lol, and i think, wow, when im down to my goal weight ,i wana date a guy looks like that lol,
