How I Started:
I'd been losing a ton of weight that I'd gained in about two years and knew that just dieting wasn't the answer. I always did cardio and neglected weightlifting. Now I do tons of weightlifting and follow plans from bodybuilding.com.
Why I Love It:
I love watching my body change into what I've always wanted.
How I Stay Motivated:
My real motivation is looking in the mirror and seeing how far I've come in the past year. My boyfriend is also a huge motivator for me. He's always motivating me to get off my butt when I'm tired after work and don't feel like working out. Going on bodybuilding.com also keeps me motivated.

Goal (Long):
I've struggled with my weight all my life. I spent most of my high school years starving myself to be thin and doing cardio compulsively. I gained about 50lbs in a period of two years and was already a little overweight before that. I've managed to lose about 40lbs of that. Today, I refuse to starve myself. I have no desire to be stick thin. I want to be healthy, strong and in great shape. I want to build lean muscle and I'm working on that goal by going to the gym 4-5 times a week. I know I can succeed in my ultimate goal of 150lbs. I've come this far already...
