When I Started:
1995
How I Started:
I got started lifting weights in junior high with my buddy Troy. We dug comics- in my case Superman, Troy was a Lobo fan; demented b@stard, lol - and decided that we wanted to look like the superheroes that we read about in the comics. I bought a ninety pound adjustable set of dumbbells and with the other random weights our parents had we started pumping up. Through out high school and college I trained as though I was some sort of hybrid of a bodybuilder and a normal team type athlete because my foremost thing was sports, but when it comes down to it lifting is what I love. I've been a pure bodybuilder however now for about two years.
Why I Love It:
Above all I love the pump, and the way I look and feel when I've been training well. I love getting stronger. It's great trying to get just that much more everytime.
How I Stay Motivated:
Really I rarely have issues staying motivated, lifting is what I do.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. -- Arnold Schwarzenegger
Description: Model Entry Video- These are the commercials I did for DMS Auto Sales a while back. It was a lot of fun and I met a lot of cool folks there. In the first and third commercial I just have cameo appearances, but I have lines in the second one- and if you are paying attention you'll notice that I'm wearing a Bodybuilding.com shirt. These commercials aired in Bakersfield,CA in case you were wondering. Model Entry Video

Description: 32 reps at bodyweight of 225. Notice how I throw myself up and back rather than straight up... this kicks the crap outta your back. The one thing that sucks is the video quality after the upload... I'm actually looking pretty cut up when it comes off the hard drive. grumble grumble
...Why not stay tan? :) I hope bb.com doesn't care, but I figured I'd throw this out there for ya'll... I have a Hex II Stand Up Tanning booth at the gym here that I want to get rid of. It's worth about 8g's and I'm asking $6500 for it on craigslist. If anybody from the bodybuilding.com...
I train one bodypart per day (sometimes two, but rarely.)
I don't have a set split, so my parts change from day to day. More or less, I train according to that "Weider Instincive Training Principle." In this case, since I made up my workouts before I heard of the Weider principles, I should...
Any tips on bringing up my arm mass? I am currently training biceps and triceps once a week, around 8 to 9 sets each consisting of heavy curls and narrow grip benches, moderate weight incline curls and pulldowns (8-10 reps) and high rep concentration curls and dumbell tri extentions. Can't seem to get my arms to grow! Especially triceps.
