When I Started:
1995
How I Started:
I got started lifting weights in junior high with my buddy Troy. We dug comics- in my case Superman, Troy was a Lobo fan; demented b@stard, lol - and decided that we wanted to look like the superheroes that we read about in the comics. I bought a ninety pound adjustable set of dumbbells and with the other random weights our parents had we started pumping up. Through out high school and college I trained as though I was some sort of hybrid of a bodybuilder and a normal team type athlete because my foremost thing was sports, but when it comes down to it lifting is what I love. I've been a pure bodybuilder however now for about two years.
Why I Love It:
Above all I love the pump, and the way I look and feel when I've been training well. I love getting stronger. It's great trying to get just that much more everytime.
How I Stay Motivated:
Really I rarely have issues staying motivated, lifting is what I do.
BB Accomplishments:
Forum Signature:
Master: "Conan, what is best in life?"
Conan: "To crush my enemies; see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
Oh the lines I wish I had if I were an actor...

"Milk? Milk is for babies. When you grow up you have to drink beer!" -Pumping Iron

Goal (Long):
Bodyweight- 245 at 13% or less. My arms had better be at least 18.25 by then... not gonna get there this year but I bet 230's will happen before I cut for my next competition. I will still break 18. Going to start cutting for my comp the last week of January...
Description: These are the commercials I did for DMS Auto Sales a while back. It was a lot of fun and I met a lot of cool folks there. In the first and third commercial I just have cameo appearances, but I have lines in the second one- and if you are paying attention you'll notice that I'm wearing a Bodybuilding.com shirt. These commercials aired in Bakersfield,CA in case you were wondering.

Played: 276
Description: 32 reps at bodyweight of 225. Notice how I throw myself up and back rather than straight up... this kicks the crap outta your back. The one thing that sucks is the video quality after the upload... I'm actually looking pretty cut up when it comes off the hard drive. grumble grumble
Did some triceps yesterday too. Was originally planning a full arm workout, but I jacked some stuff up in my elbow during my back workout last week ( part of why I cut this week's short) and biceps weren't a terribly good idea yesterday. Maybe I'll get them a little after some chest and...
I train one bodypart per day (sometimes two, but rarely.)
I don't have a set split, so my parts change from day to day. More or less, I train according to that "Weider Instincive Training Principle." In this case, since I made up my workouts before I heard of the Weider principles, I should...
Damn, man you look great. Awesome mass on your chest and size on your arms. You have really inspired me big guy. I want to be just like you. Take care and good luck in achieving all your goals and reaching your personal physique objectives, clearly you are well on your way!
Looking great man I really hope I can shape my pecs like you have. I've justed started cutting @188lbs after 5 months of heavy lifting. You really have made a great transformation and I look forward to catching up with you.
