I have always been active and have been working out (on and off) since I was 15 years old. I got serious last summer when I couldn't fit in my pants anymore and at the same time my entire life fell apart. I lost everything, my job, my boyfriend, my health, etc. and one day decided to make a change. I figured if I started with my health and appearance the rest will follow...and it did!
Why I Love It:
There is no better feeling than Self-Confidence!
How I Stay Motivated:
Visualizations! Sometimes I imagine myself on the cover of a fitness magazine to keep me from quiting during a work out...sounds silly but it works for me. I believe Posiitive thinking and imagery is motivating.
BB Accomplishments:
I am producing my own fitness DVD's this year. I am featured in a work-out DVD that is coming out soon. Also appeared in an Ab video infomercial.
I want to gain more muscle and be able to compete.
Goal (Long):
I am hoping to gain more muscle, especially on my arms and quads. Staying disciplined with my diet will hopefully help me achieve this goal and give me the confidence to compete. It has always been a dream of mine to be recognized in the fitness and health industry. Eventually I would love to have modeling opportunities, help others with their health concerns as a Holistic Health Counselor and write a book.
Well I was looking for some motivation and you definitely just gave me the kick in the ass I needed. Thanks girl. Keep it up. I'll have my pics up soon!
