Background

When I Started: Aug 2008
HOW I STARTED:

Originally I wanted to lose weight. Having accomplished that goal, I wanted to start building muscle mass, so to that end I started seriously working with a trainer.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the regular meeting and exceeding of goals in the gym. I also love the improvements in my body and the fact that my friends are noticing.

It isn't that hard, really. Having an outstanding trainer and friend, Shane Kelley, really helps provide accountability and fun, but also making regular progress in terms of new weights and lifts keeps me motivated.
