I was on the track team in college and after a number of injuries I decided to try lifting weights. Soon after, I decided to try my first competition and as they say the rest is history.
Why I Love It:
I'm not sure. I just love it. It's fun, challenging, and has visible and tangible measures of progress.
How I Stay Motivated:
Watching or talking with pros or going to shows. Also having a motivated training partner has always helped me tremendously. Unfortunately I've always had a hard time keeping them! LOL
BB Accomplishments:
2005 NPC NC State Championships overall
2005 NPC Jr. USA light heavyweight champion
2005 Nationals - 10th of 38
2007 Natinals - we'll see!!!

Hey man. Thanks for the post in the forum on my thread (the one where I was saying how my dad was telling me I couldn't do anything by weightlifting but get stronger). I really appreciate it because it's good to know a guy like you was only 140 when he graduated and that it's possible to get to where your at with hard work and determination. Thanks man.
training is actually beating me up this year...I have realized I'm not 23
anymore, and my body is responding differnetly....I think it's time for phase two...if you know what I mean...any suggestions?
Your lookin good man. You are strong as hell! How long have you been using DC? I've thought about trying it to add some size this year.

yeah...I'm just going to watch nationals, not compete. I just don't think I'll be ready for the fitness side since they don't have figure at this one. I have to get everything aligned in order to compete properly, ya know what I mean? where are you guys staying at for nationals?
You'll rock the house at Nats. I'm just getting refocused on my competition goals...have been focused my career this year... you know how it is =) But things have settled down now, so I can give it the committment it requires. Is Rae all done for the season?
:) Have a prosperous week! BL.
