Yup yup, got up early this morning for a little shoulder training. Not my typical (or ideal) time, but as I try to juggle spending quality time with the woman, it can't be at the expense of my training. Gains, Gains can't forget about my gains! When you speak with fitness professionals, most will tell you to avoid over-training. I agree; it leaves you open to injuries and can reverse some of the progress you've gained. Today was one of those exceptions, but I ensured opposing muscle groups were trained. For upper body, I had a Chest and Triceps day and for lower body, Quads and Hamstrings. It's been a while but it's important to log all thoughts and progress. Last time I wrote, I spoke about some nagging injuries. Unfortunately, some remain such as the pain in my back. But on a positive note, knees are feeling much better. Not saying they are completely recovered, as I still get some tightness, but I'd say knees are about 90-95%. I'll sometimes wake with some soreness in my back, and if I make awkward movements or false steps, sometimes it activates the pain receptors in my back.... Go to BodyBlog
